Unity
What does wellbeing mean to you?
Is it just a personal concept, or is it part of something more profound? Human populations now have a global ecological impact, and our personal, collective, and planetary ecologies are completely entwined.
If we want to live well, what does that mean for us in the short, medium, and long term? Can we find sustainable ways to thrive? And if not, what does that mean for our future?
Your personal wellbeing influences the society around you,
Our societies affect us individually and globally,
And the welfare of planet Earth is the basis for all life thriving.
Realising this connection can be revolutionary!
Consider the world around you: are there shifts you could make for the better? Conversely, what effect do you have on the world? Could these broader perspectives change your own approach to living well?
Try this practical exercise.
Select the top three changes that would have the most positive impact on your life right now. You can write them down, put them in a spreadsheet, or find pictures that help you clarify what you want to achieve. Then, explore how these shifts can be realised based on a unified approach to wellbeing.
Here’s an example:
Can you identify the key changes in your life and develop unified solutions? Can you connect the personal, collective, and ecological aspects of your wellbeing to truly thrive? If we can’t make these shifts, then what becomes of us? If we can, what does that future hold?
I work to empower people so that together, we can forge thriving communities dedicated to all life flourishing on this planet and beyond. We’re designed to thrive; that’s you and us together. We can do this, and we must.
